Cain. The Norseman

 Shipwrecked, Cain finds himself a castaway and washes upon the shores of the Northlands, nearly dead. A land of frozen fjords and fiery volcanos, where men of iron ply the seas upon the Whale Road, seeking fortune and plunder and high adventure. The well-renowned raider of the seas - Erik the Red - embraces the Immortal Sufferer, and Cain becomes a Norseman.
After Cain makes a name for himself among the Vikings, Thorvald, second favored son of Erik the Red, disappears mysteriously upon his journey to the unknown lands of the West.
Cain embarks with his hand-picked crew aboard his ship, the Valkyrie, into the dangerous seas, battling Picts and creatures of the oceans along the way to an untamed land known as Vinland.
For Vinland holds not only savage beasts, and more savage men, but most importantly, the key to Cain’s quest to find revenge and redemption - the beautiful witch Cynn, which the Immortal Sufferer once loved.
But Cynn the witch is canny and wily, with the knowledge and means to create her own band of berserkers out of the wealth of Skraeling savages in the Unknown World, laying a deadly trap for Cain and his crew of mighty Norsemen…
